Christmas Lights

Everyone enjoys Christmas lights and Christmas carols. But what would be a nice message to people who do not know much about the Bible or believe it?

I think it would be to say to all the shoppers in the malls, that they are, themselves, "Christmas lights," lights against the darkness.

This is a dangerous universe, and as far as we know, all there is, to help make things safer and warmer, is people.

Sure, I think there is a God, and our most obvious help on earth, are the good things God teaches in the Bible, but still, for the most part, we have to do it.

I like these videos that look at low birth rates and predict that world population will peak and then decline, so that from a population of 7 billion today, in 75 years the world will be down to 7 billion again.

Currently, population growth and decline conditions are different for different parts of the world.

With Alberta's expanding economy, and population growth (people are a resource), hopefully this will make it so that everyone can prosper.

But what is going to happen in the debt strapped countries in Europe, with a declining economy and a declining population, I don't know.

But if you are reading this, my message to you is shine; overcome the darkness within us all and shine; "you are a light against the darkness." And sometimes, it could be just as easy for you, as moving things around and making it warmer, for someone else.

You are Christmas Lights.
