Adam Kassam

Resident physician, husband, writer, health and diversity advocate

Adam Kassam is the senior resident physician in the department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Western University. His background includes public health, global health, medical education, medical research and leadership. He writes regularly about health care, diversity and public policy and has been published in the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Sydney Morning Herald, Ottawa Citizen, Huffington Post and Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. He also appears as a regular medical guest on CTV's Your Morning.

Dr. Kassam graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell University, obtained an MD from Dartmouth Medical School while also completing a Master's in Public Health from Columbia University.

His medical and professional interests include stroke rehabilitation, sports medicine, clinical research, medical education, public policy, media communications and entrepreneurship.
