Pat is founder and CEO of APEX Public Relations/Ruckus Digital, a full service communications and social content firm. As a communications expert and entrepreneur with over 25 years experience, she currently oversees the operations of the firm.

She has counseled several leading corporations including Bank of Montreal, Brooks Brothers, Coca-Cola, Jamieson Laboratories, Levi Strauss & Co., Molson Breweries, Nike, Samsung and UPS. She has also been very active in the industry, establishing the Canadian Council of Public Relations Firms and is a recipient of national and local mentor recognition awards.

Pat has a passion for entrepreneurship and has been recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Women Business Owners for the past 12 years. She established a non-profit organization, Ignite Capital (www.ignitecaptial.ca) three years ago to help entrepreneurs with limited access to capital. The annual Ignite Capital competition awards $60,000 a year in funding in three categories: youth, women and immigrants.
