HIV is an important issue in the lives of gay men but it's only one of many; one of many issues that are linked together and need to be considered through a new and broader lens. It's a lens through which we can focus on HIV but not in isolation of the social and rights-based context in which it exists.
Men's Health Advocate
Phillip Banks has worked, paid and unpaid, in HIV prevention and gay men's health for twenty years. Phillip was the founding executive director of the Health Initiative for Men in Vancouver, BC. He currently works in HIV prevention programming for gay men at the AIDS Committee of Simcoe County.
