Wednesday nightβs Democratic presidential debate had its share of eyebrow-raising moments.
And the denizens of Twitter were quick to highlight them as they happened.
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (N.Y.) said sheβd Clorox the Oval Office. Sen. Cory Booker (N.J.) told former Vice President Joe Biden he was βdipping into Kool-Aid and you donβt even know the flavor.β Biden later referred to Booker as βthe future presidentβ and at the end of the debate botched his attempt to get people to text his campaign.
Naturally, Twitter users noticed all this and more:

watching the Biden/Booker exchange again, it will never not be endearingly corny the way Booker always smiles/laughs at his own jokes before he gets to the punch line. He was cheesing before he'd gotten the word Kool-Aid out

Biden called Cory Booker "the president" and now I'm wondering if Booker is the second black man Biden's ever actually talked to.
