Sports were created to make sure young athletes grew up to be leaders, and healthy members of society. That is now more important than ever. Participaction has been promoting our kids get more activity for years, and there most recent resurgence has a focus on how much activity we get.

Let's bring back play and look to make our lifestyle's healthier and more balanced. There seems to be a misunderstanding about what the gym is for. I have to make this clear, if you don't want to ever go to a gym, don't! But you do have to get active and watch what you eat. Now, if are looking for a lot of "bang" for your weight loss buck, get to a gym and try adding some balance training into your routine.

Standing in the gym infront of a mirror and grunting your way through a workout won't work for anyone. It's not fun, and it's not functional. Making smart nutrition choices will make sure that your time in the gym becomes weight loss.
