Style icon Tina Chow was an internationally known model who got her start working with Shiseido. According to the South China Morning Post, Karl Lagerfeld credited Chow as the inventor of the "minimal chic" look, and she was a muse to designers like Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent and Issey Miyake. She died at the age of 41 in 1992.
