Canadian actor Nathan Mitchell, who plays enigmatic hero Black Noir in “The Boys,” says his character represents a lot of people who feel like they aren’t seen.

But that role comes with its own challenges: the character wears a mask, and doesn’t speak. How do you act without talking or using facial expressions?
