My friend's daughter, Hannah, asked me to help her make some DIY beauty products for her mom. Hannah is the eldest of six kids and she wanted to do something special for her mom. We made a video of our project to demonstrate how simple it is to make a homemade gift that shows your love for mom.
We made an orange sugar body scrub using just orange juice, sugar, olive oil, and honey. Then we mixed a rose bubble bath with soap, rose oil, and rose petals. To top it all off we created a peppermint muscle soak with epsom salt, sea salt, rose water, and peppermint oil. We put each mixture into a pretty jar, tied it with some ribbon and added it to a basket. Its a very thoughtful gift, took about 15 minutes to make, and it displayed Hannah's creativity.
