The London Olympics and their Paul McCartney-fronted opening ceremonies are over and we're deep into the actual competition as we wait impatiently for the Closing Ceremony to fulfill our Spice Girls reunion dreams.

And while montages set to the "Chariots of Fire" theme may be the first image that comes to mind in times like these -- and perhaps the Belle and Sebastian "The Stars of Track and Field" scene from Pumpkin, second -- we've found 15 others that should (but, alas, don't) easily trump these.
