School hallways have an esteemed place in the world of cinema, with slamming lockers and epic prom scenes creating the pivotal moments in more than one movie.
Now, as students across the country prepare to head back to their own hallowed halls, Cineplex Entertainment and Ipsos Reid has polled more than 4,000 Canadians about which fictional schools they most wish they could attend.
While we're not quite sure about all the answers — Dead Poets Society's private school, for example, may have had some inspiring teachers, but that place had its fair share of issues too — we couldn't help but think about our own preferred fake high schools. Maybe it was rocking at the end-of-school fair at Grease's Rydell High, or being oh-so-normal with the folks at Degrassi.
