Air New Zealand Makes Hobbit Inspired Safety Video (WATCH)

Airline Makes Hobbit Inspired Safety Video

Air New Zealand really does make the best safety videos. In their latest clip, the airline partners up with WETA, the production house behind the Lord of the Rings series and the Hobbit to remind you of the finer points of in-flight safety.

The video features one Elvish flight attendant, dwarves who don't like to be tossed but don't mind flying, hobbit socks, several EPIC beards and even Peter Jackson himself.

And because one simply can't walk into Mordor, the airline is also running a contest to win trips to the Hobbit world premiere in Wellington, NZ.

What do you think? Is this one in-flight safety video you'd watch again?

Of course, Air New Zealand are masters at viral videos. In the past their eye-catching videos have included flight attendants in body paint and, uhm, Richard Simmons.
