Premier Alison Redford's Rating Low: Rate My Government Website's Feedback Mostly Negative

RATING: Some Albertans ArePleased With Redford
CP

Premier Alison Redford received an overall rating of 3.1 out of 10 on RateMyGovernment.ca, a website that discusses and rates Canadian politicians.

"Not very many Albertans seem happy with Premier Redford," said the website on Twitter. While some said Redford lied on campaign promises, others felt that Alberta was duped.

"Thought she was different, has turned out to be worse!" said user Candace Lane.

"An absolute failure at effective and intelligent governence. She presents well as a smart person but seems not to have a clue about long-term planning, nor any other kind of planning. I am extremely disappointed that she refuses to admit or acknowledge that she makes mistakes and responds to real and perceived criticism with defensiveness and denial," said Linda on RateMyGovernment.ca

Redford was rated higher than B.C. Premier Christy Clark , who had an overall rating of 1.7 out of 10.

"Christy Clark is an apologist for corruption, she is always camapigning, never working, embarrasses us nationwide (the nutty visits to Alberta a case in point)," said Sue Stroud.

User Sara Thomson was an exception when she said she loved Redford. "Compared to the premiers of the other provinces I have lived in, Redford takes the cake," she said.

This is not the only time the premier has received low ratings. An Angus Reid Public Opinion poll released earlier this month found that although Redford was the second most popular provincial leader in Canada, her ratings were taking a serious fall.
