William S. Cohen, former U.S. Secretary of Defense, was in Toronto Wednesday night to share his thoughts on the big risks facing the world in 2013, from Syria and Iran to the mounting tension between China and Japan.

Cohen, who now heads up the global advisory firm The Cohen Group, was taking part in the Grano Speakers Series, organized by Rudyard Griffiths and Patrick Luciani.

Cohen answered a question from a HuffPost Canada reader on the ongoing global currency wars.
