Toronto Fashion Week 2013 Beauty: How To Recreate Catwalk Makeup (VIDEO)

WATCH: How To Recreate Runway Beauty Looks

It doesn't have to take an army of makeup artists to look runway-ready.

But if you do happen to get into the tents at Toronto Fashion Week (and run into celebs), or even if you're just going about your day, prepare in advance to get that model look at home.

1. Big Is Beautiful

Don't over-tweeze your eyebrows to get that surprised look. The new trend that every woman should adopt immediately is big, full brows.

Grace Lee of Maybelline New York Canada (and makeup artist for the David Dixon Fall 2013 show) says to "fill in the brows so it looks natural but very full." If you're waiting for your brows to grow naturally, you can use a pencil eyeliner to fill them in.

2. Silver Lining

Make your eyes stand out with a subtle highlight. Lee suggests smudging in just a hint of silver (eyeshadow and even lip gloss can be used) in the inner corner of the eye to make it shimmer and pop.

3. Revel In Red

This season it's all about the red lip. Lee says that "it doesn't have to be glossy or opaque but you can take a version of it and make it your own."

If you're afraid of a dramatic colour, go with a glossy red. However if you are looking for that extra oomph, use a matte shade.

Here's another tip: "If you get a lipstick, make it a two-in-one because it can be this opaque but you can dab it on your lips to make it a statement," says Lee.
