She plays a girl who's inhabited by an alien "soul" in the new sci-fi adventure movie "The Host," and actress Saoirse Ronan certainly looks otherworldly at the movie's red carpet premiere.

The 18-year-old Irish beauty (you may recognize her from films such as "Hanna" and "The Lovely Bones"), channeled her inner warrior in a kimono-inspired green-blue dress on March 27.

The futuristic Proenza Schouler dress used a print that looked like it came from the surface of another planet.

"The Host" premieres

Saoirse (pronounced "sir-sha") looks radiant without having to put on a lot of makeup (it helps that she's just a teenager).

Her calm and confident demeanor must mask some stress; "The Host", based on the book written by "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer, has big expectations to perform well at the box office.

The film also stars Diane Kruger and Jeremy Irons' son, Max. Kruger had her own style moment (or should we say mishap?) when she displayed a bit too much sideboob on the red carpet last week.

Once Ronan is finished other movie projects, she is slated to star in Ryan Gosling's directorial debut, "How To Catch A Monster."

But will she be the next Kristen Stewart? Only time (and movie receipts) will tell.
