TOIFA Vancouver: Aishwarya Rai Red Carpet Photos

Aishwarya Rai Makes Stunning Appearance In Vancouver

It seemed like all of Bollywood had temporarily moved to Vancouver over the weekend for the inaugural Times Of India Film Awards (TOIFA).

But not even superstar Shahrukh Khan (who performed with an injured shoulder) could upstage the "Most Beautiful Woman in the World," Aishwarya Rai.

The stunning 39-year-old Bollywood actress, who attended TOIFA with her husband, Bollywood actor, Abhishek Bachchan, wore a traditional mint green anarkali on the red carpet which featured delicate gold and copper embroidery along the arms and trim. We wish more actresses had her incredible versatile style!

Aishwarya's husband didn't even try to outshine his wife; he sported a navy blue long coat with red and white trim. Don't they make a great looking couple?

Other red carpet notables included Miss Universe Canada's Sahar Biniaz in a figure-hugging red gown, actress Nargis Fakhri in a silver sequined number with a thigh high slit and Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia in a gorgeous blue sari.

Even B.C. Premier Christy Clark walked the red carpet in a dazzling cobalt blue tunic.

The red carpet wasn't Aishwarya's only TOIFA appearance; she performed alongside other Bollywood stars such as Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. It was Rai's first live performance since giving birth to her daughter, Aaradhya, in 2011.

Although Aishwarya didn't win an award, husband Abhishek took home the TOIFA for Best Actor in a Comic Role and dedicated it to Rai, saying, "I really owe this to Aishwarya and the love and support she has given me. She makes me the person that I am."

Swoon!
