Best Travel Photos Of The Week: Seeing Green With Globetrotting

The Best Travel Photos Of The Week
Krista Rowland

The month of May is well under way but so are the travel plans of many Canadians and here are the photos to prove it.

To kick off a new month, this week's travel-photo round up is all about greenery around the world. After all, green's a fitting colour to symbolize the start of a new month. It's associated with vitality, birth and rarely disappoints any traveller looking to liven up a photograph.

Take the case of Cam and Nicole Wears from Traveling Canucks. This week, the two experienced a tour unlike anything they've felt before as they rode mules down the world's tallest sea cliff during their adventure in Kalaupapa National Historical Park on the island of Molokai in Hawaii.

Then there's the stunning greenery found during Leigh McAdam's hiking excursion of East Sooke Park nearby Victoria. During her five-hour hike (it's not an easy hike, she writes), McAdam captures the park's pocket coves and beaches, towering trees and short stumps. Now, there's more to these Canadian's adventures, but let's let the photography do the rest of the talking.

So, whether you're making travel plans of your own or are looking for some green ideas, check out the gallery below to see where else Canadians have travelled to this week.
