A YouTube video of a man in Fayeteville, North Carolina being arrested for trespassing while drinking a can of AriZona Half & Half Iced Tea is making waves online.
Christopher Beatty, a rapper who goes by 'Xstrav', was being filmed in a liquor store parking lot while waiting for his friend, WNCN-TV News reports.
An undercover police officer approached Beatty and asked him what he was drinking. Alcoholic Beverage Control Law Enforcement identified the officer as Rick Libero.
When Libero asks to see the drink, Beatty refuses. The officer then asks him to leave the parking lot, telling him he is trespassing. Beatty does not comply, then gets tackled and arrested.
The video was posted to YouTube on April 29 and has since raked in nearly 1.4 million views.
A second part to the video was posted on May 1 in an apparent response to YouTube commenters who suggested the video was a hoax, according to Latinrapper.com.
Beatty's official charges are Misdemeanor Second Degree Trespass and Misdemeanor Resisting Public Officer. His court date is June 6.
