Happy birthday, Mayor Rob Ford! Toronto's scandal-plagued mayor turned 44 on Tuesday. But he's probably not getting too much good cheer.

Ford continues to face scrutiny after allegations surfaced that he is seen in a video smoking crack. The scandal has gotten the city and its mayor a lot of attention at home and abroad.

It's also driven three key members of Ford's staff to resign.

The mayor took to Twitter to thank his supporters for their birthday wishes.

His detractors took a more direct approach and brought a cake with the words "Happy Birthday Rob Ford, Please Resign" written in frosting.
