Alberta RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in identifying human remains found in Cochrane, Alta. last fall.

The Calgary medical examiner has determined the remains belong to a caucasian male between the ages of 20 and 60. The individual once had a broken nose that had healed. RCMP say the remains had been decomposing for less than a year, prior to Oct. 13, 2012.

The police have released photos of a facial approximation, pictured below.
