Every month, we take a look at women and men in the public eye who catch our attention with their trendy, fun and interesting sense of style.

This month: Lucky editor-in-chief Eva Chen.

Why we love her: The newly minted head honcho of the shopping magazine is a fixture on Instagram for her vibrant fashion choices.

We have something horrible to admit to: We had never heard of Eva Chen before she was crowned the new editor-in-chief of Lucky magazine this past June, hand-picked by the Devil in Prada herself, Anna Wintour.

But we did some research on the spunky yet elegant style icon-in-the-making and realized 33-year-old is as un-Anna Wintour as you can get. (And that's a good thing!)

The former Teen Vogue Beauty Director varies up her look from East Coast printed mini dresses to vibrant street-style ready ensembles. The best part about Eva? You can never predict what she will wear next and she will always surprise you.

Not convinced? Just ask her more than 66,000 Instagram followers, who will happily spill on why they love their new Grace Coddington.

Take a look at her coolest looks:
