Was Apple's new heartwarming holiday video filmed in Edmonton?
The video, titled 'Misunderstood,' was making the rounds online Tuesday, with a special message that brought a tear to many eyes.
But several geography-savvy sleuths in the Edmonton area were able to see through those tears and pick out some very subtle details that place the video in Alberta's wonderful, wintry capital city.
Credit to @Univers47, for a keen eye that appears to have first spotted the most telling details.
Edmontonians were quite excited, understandably, to spot their home town in the ad. There's no doubt it comes as a special validation for a city that has been dealing with non-stop snow in recent weeks.
And, of course, the occasional deprecating tweet (sent with love, of course.)
Apple has yet to confirm if the video was shot in Edmonton, but it appears the people of Twitter have done a good job of sussing it out. What do you think? Do you recognize Edmonton in the video?
