Paulina Gretzky Pays Tribute To Wayne, Gives Shoutout To Canada. Sorta.

Paulina Gives A Nod To Canada. Sorta.

Is Paulina Gretzky trying to make amends with Canada?

After offending the Great White North (and by Great White North we mean us) by claiming no affiliation with Canada, the Great One's daughter is seemingly trying to make amends.

The 25-year-old NHL heiress posted an Instagram photo on the weekend which showed her back facing us while wearing an L.A. Kings jacket. (Wayne played for the Kings from 1988 to 1996.)

"2014 NHL Stadium Series. My New Fav Jacket @rootscanada," wrote the Maxim cover girl.

This isn't the first time Paulina has sported Roots outerwear; the former singer snapped a Christmas pic which showed her mom and two brothers wearing Roots onesies. Hooray for supporting Canadian fashion!

The whole Gretzky clan was there to greet the Flare cover girl including little sister Emma, brothers Ty and Trevor and mom Janet Jones, who posted a cute Instagram pic of her husband of 26 years.

"Happy birthday to the love of my life like a little boy loving his dream," wrote the still-enamoured former model.

We're feeling the Gretzky love!

Update:Roots Canada tweeted a photo of Paulina wearing the jacket from the front.
