Sad Sochi Bear Mascot Sums Up Russia's Feelings About Hockey Loss To Finland

Mascot Sums Up A Nation's Feelings

Russian hockey fans are probably crying into their vodka right now. The host nation lost their quarterfinal match-up against Finland, 3-1 and were eliminated out of the Olympic tournament.

Team Russia was stacked with offensive talent but couldn't find its rhythm as a team. On Wednesday, it also found itself matched up against a plucky Finnish team backstopped by star goalie Tuuka Rask.

It wasn't just the fans that were devastated by the Russian loss, this Sochi Bear mascot could be seen in the stands at the Bolshoy Arena well after the game ended.

And sad Sochi Bear is not alone.

Cheer up Russian fans! As of today, Russia is one of the leaders in the medal standings with 22 medals and counting.
