Rina Takeda Shatters Stones And Stereotypes With Her Head (VIDEO)

WATCH: Japanese Actress Smashes Stone Tiles With Her Head

Rina Takeda wants to take gender stereotypes and smash them – literally.

The 22-year-old Japanese actress stars in an ad for Credit Saison, a Tokyo-based credit card company, for their “Use your head” campaign. In it, she shows audiences how she earned a karate black belt in real life by demonstrating her breaking skills.

Breaking is a martial arts technique used to demonstrate the force of a person's strike by breaking an object or series of objects – in this case, 15 stone roof tiles – with a single hit. Some choose to break with a hand, elbow, foot, or knee, but Takeda chose her head.

Known in Japan to often perform her own stunts without wires or CGI, Takeda reportedly made this commercial was with zero special effects.

Wearing a pink dress, Takeda walks towards the tile set while taking off her pearl earrings and necklace. Midway through, she ties up her hair, lets out a scream, and destroys all 15 stone tiles with her forehead.
