Georgia May Jagger Pays Moving Tribute To L'Wren Scott

Mick Jagger's Daughter Pays Tribute To L'Wren Scott

In a moving tribute to late designer L'Wren Scott, Mick Jagger's daughter paid her respects to her mentor and friend on Instagram this week.

Model Georgia May Jagger, whose mum is Mick's ex-wife Jerry Hall, posted a pic of herself with her arm around Scott and wrote a touching eulogy.

"I miss L'wren so much and I am so sad she isn't here anymore," the 22-year-old wrote. "She was such a big part of my life. I will never forget all the fun times we had together. She was part of our family and always will be. Rest in peace."

Scott was found dead on March 17, 2013, after committing suicide in her home.

This is the first time Georgia has spoken publicly about L'Wren's death. Although the fashion designer and Mick Jagger were never married, they had been dating for 13 years at the time of her death and the 49-year-old left her $9-million estate to the Rolling Stones frontman.

The day after her death, Jagger, 70, released a statement that said, "I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way. We spent many years together and had made a great life for ourselves.”
