Sir Mick Jagger has taken to the stage for the first time since L'Wren Scott's death.
The Rolling Stones frontman put the band's 14 On Fire tour on hold after his partner of 13 years committed suicide in March.
Last night the grieving rocker managed to put on a show for fans at the Telenor Arena in Oslo, Norway, which went down a storm. The 70-year-old was energetic on stage as he performed some of the Stones' greatest hits with bandmates Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood.
Mick's kids Lizzie and James were there to support the star, as was former bandmate Mick Taylor, who admitted it was an emotional time.
"We're all looking forward to it but we're a bit nervous. Mainly nervous for Mick.
"We need to get the wheels turning again... ” he opened up to British newspaper The Sun before the performance.
Hit "Emotional Rescue" went down well with the audience, as did ballad "Worried About You."
The show marked the return of the band’s tour and after their Scandinavia performances they will be heading to Lisbon, Zurich, Tel-Aviv and the Netherlands.
L'Wren, 49, was found hanged in her Manhattan apartment in March. In a touching tribute, Mick opened up about his long-term partner.
"I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way. We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves," he said in a statement. "She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me. I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received. I will never forget her."
