Drone Captures How Deserted Moncton Was During Manhunt

Much of Moncton was a ghost town Thursday as police conducted an intense manhunt for a gunman who killed three RCMP officers and wounded two others.

Video taken by a drone deployed by Marc LeBlanc shows just how deserted much of the New Brunswick city was while police searched for the shooter. Police arrested suspect Justin Bourque early Friday morning.

Moncton is slowly returning to normal while coming to grips with the loss of officers Fabrice Georges Gevaudan, David Joseph Ross and Douglas James Larche. A candle-lit vigil outside RCMP headquarters in Moncton is planned for Friday evening.
