Aussie Goal Gives 'Flying Dutchman' A Run For His Money

The competition for best goal at the World Cup just became tighter.

Australia's Tim Cahill made us temporarily forget Robin van Persie's flying header when he scored this top-shelf beauty against the Netherlands on Wednesday.

It made for a tense game against the Dutch, as for a time it looked like the favourites might not emerge as victors. Cahill's goal tied them up at one goal each in the 21st minute before Mike Jedinak put them ahead on a penalty kick in the 54th.

But the upset did not come. Van Persie tied the game once more in the 58th minute before Memphis Depay made the score 3-2 in the 68th.

Just for context, let's have one more look at the "Flying Dutchman's" goal against Spain and you can tell us which one you like best.
