Stylish Weekender Bags for Every Type of Traveller (PHOTOS)

15 Stylish Weekender Bags

Most of us would agree that weekend getaways are an essential part of what makes summer summer. The weather is (usually) pristine and there's nothing better than traipsing off to the cottage or a neighbouring city for a long weekend of relaxing or exploration.

I recall a summer in which I tossed my weekend necessities into what I thought was a perfectly respectable bag for three days at the cottage. The bag in question was essentially a fancy grocery bag and I was teased relentlessly for five minutes for not owning some form of weekender bag.

After that, the hunt was on and I’m now the proud owner of a buttery leather chestnut hued bag with a long leather strap that I routinely take on weekend and overseas trips. It’s served me well.

So, before you take your grocery bag to the cottage, think again. (Although if that's your thing, carry on.) Here are some options for your own weekender bag hunt.
