Four people have non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by lightning in Toronto's east end, according to CP24.

They were struck mid-afternoon Monday at Morningside Park in Scarborough, Global News reported.

Severe thunderstorm and lightning warnings are currently in effect for Toronto and much of southern Ontario. The humidity and stormy weather are expected to ease up Tuesday.
