In Canada, many condo buyers see little problem squeezing themselves into 297 square feet.
But how about 188 square feet?
If you're in England, it's worth considering, as a cute little apartment in north London is on sale for £275,000 (just under C$500,000).

The home, a former storage shed, is being called the smallest apartment on the market in Great Britain by The Daily Telegraph.
"This is not meant to be a full-time home; it is a temporary pied-à-terre," architect Christopher Dyvik told the newspaper.
Located on Richmond Avenue in Barnsbury, the former storage space is rather generously listed as a one-bedroom apartment. The master bedroom, if you can call it that, is basically a double bed that hangs over the kitchen.
The kitchen and main living area are only 15 feet by seven feet, with scarcely more than a range, counter, oven and enough space for a couple of cushions to serve as a couch.
That said, it's a pleasant open space with a high, curved ceiling and a large window that could let in plenty of light.
The space may be small, but really, if you have a bedroom, kitchen and living room, what more do you need?
