Jeep's Spin In the Mud Turns Into Sticky Sad Situation (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Jeep Does Doughnuts. Jeep Gets Stuck. River Wins.

We know Jeeps are designed to off-road, but not off-road-right-into-sticky-mud.

Someone took their Jeep for a spin in the mud flats on the south arm of the Fraser River in Richmond, B.C. on Monday morning. The driver managed a few successful doughnuts, according to a Facebook post by Global News.

Then we guess he or she got a little too cocky and ventured too far out.

By the time photographer Matthew Van Deventer got there in the afternoon, the Jeep was half submerged.

"The horn was barely bleating, like a dying lamb. The windshield wipers were also flailing around like it was using its last spark of life signalling to a crowd of cyclists and joggers for help," Van Deventer told The Huffington Post B.C. in an email.

He sent his drone up to capture images of the sad, drowning Jeep.

By Tuesday morning, the Jeep was gone. With just some tracks left behind to mark a very ill-advised drive.
