Women Attempt To Draw Vaginas, Most Are Confused

Watch What Happens When Women Try To Draw The Vagina

You may think you know exactly where the vagina is, but if you were asked to draw it out on a piece of paper, you'd likely be just as confused as some of the women above.

In a short video by Fusion, five women were asked to draw and label their own vaginas — with the cervix, ovaries and all — and not surprisingly, many didn't know where to start.

While the video itself is a humourous way to teach us about our basic body parts, it also brings up an important point: when was the last time you educated yourself about your sexual organs? We're going to go ahead and assume your grade five sex ed class.

A survey conducted by women's cancer charity The Eve Appeal in September 2014, found that 65 per cent of women polled in the U.K. weren't able to locate their vaginas on a medical diagram. The poll also found women between the ages of 16 and 25 felt uninformed about vaginal health issues like cancer.

Understanding your vagina (and any health problems that may arise) starts with understanding where it is. Watch the video above to find out what your vagina actually looks like ... and what it doesn't look like at all.
