Elmo's Vaccine Video Is The Cutest Argument We've Seen Yet

He makes it so simple!

Elmo has provided the cutest pro-vaccine argument we've seen yet.

The megapopular "Sesame Street" character appears with U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy in a Daily Dot-produced video posted to YouTube on Friday.

In it, Elmo has gone for a medical checkup. He then meets with Murthy, who informs him of the importance of vaccinations using references like superheroes and broccoli.

Elmo gets the message pretty quickly. And, of course, obtains his shot.

The video is timely for North Americans: it comes as a series of measles cases have been seen across Canada and the United States.

Quebec's Lanaudiere region saw 119 cases last month that were traced to a chain of transmission that began when someone became infected at Disneyland.

The theme park had a measles outbreak that started in December, and was only declared over on Friday.

Sometimes it takes a friendly, familiar face like Elmo's to hit home messages like the importance of vaccinations.

Whatever works!
