This is HUGE.
According to the Asscoated Press, one of our fashion favourite films, "The Devil Wears Prada," is currently being developed into a musical.
The project will be produced by Broadway Kevin McCollum, the man behind "Rent" and "Avenue Q," who signed a deal with 20th Century Fox in 2013 to develop stage versions of the studio's vast library of films. McCollum is currently backing the stage adaptation of "Ever After," which will begin later this month at Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey, and "Diary of A Wimpy Kid the Musical" at the Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis.
No word on whether the roles will be reprised by Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep (seriously, a singing Miranda Priestly? That, we have to see!) or if other actors will be cast, but either way, we can't wait.
That's all.
