Man Proposes To Girlfriend At Another Person's Wedding, Earns Internet's Scorn

We Finally Know Why This Guy Proposed At Someone Else's Wedding

UPDATE: According to the New York Daily News, the entire proposal was the bride's idea — because the woman getting engaged was her sister. "“My fiancé told her he didn't want to ruin their day and she insisted it would only make it better!” the woman (who did not want to be identified) told the paper.

This guy might have guaranteed himself a lifetime without any more wedding invitations.

A photo from a Reddit post entitled, "Any girl's wedding nightmare" has swept across the Internet just in time for wedding season, and for once, everyone online is in agreement: don't do this. Ever.

While plenty of explanations are being offered as to why a man would even think to steal the thunder away from the couple actually getting married ("I suspect the guys who think this is a good idea are the ones who are like, what's a romantic place to propose? Hey, weddings are romantic!"), we just hope the response to this proposal this serves as a warning to anyone who was even considering the idea.

Watch the video above to find out why this is an incredible wedding faux pas.
