Here's proof that black really is fashion's favourite colour.
Actress Julia Roberts walked the red carpet at Lancôme's 80th Anniversary Party on Tuesday in Paris rocking an all-black Givenchy suit.
She wore a boyfriend blazer, ruffled black blouse and black shorts. She completed her ensemble with pointy black pumps and diamond studs.
The 47-year-old's makeup was minimal with nude lips, gold shadow, black liner and thick black mascara. Her hair was kept down in waves and really pulled the simplicity of this look.
The "Pretty Woman" star was joined by Penelope Cruz, Lupita Nyong’o, Isabella Rossellini Kate Winslet and Lilly Collins, who for a majority also donned dark colours — with Lupita being the sparkly exception.
In March, the star graced the cover of Yo Dona magazine, rocking an all black outfit with matching black shoes, About Julia notes. And while she is definitely playing it safe with dark hues in her latest public appearances, we're hoping for a pop of colour soon.
