If you've been always labelled as the ticklish one, your fate is about to change.

Whether it's a tap of a feather, fingers under your armpits or any annoying child (or adult) in your life who likes to play with your feet, it can feel almost impossible to get over that hilarious tickle. In the video above by the Royal Institution, not only do we learn how to get rid of this trait (well, for the most part), but we also learn why people are ticklish in the first place.

Turns out some experts believe tickling can be an alarm system, which may tell our brains something may be crawling on our skin.
