The Halal Guys To Open Locations In Toronto

Food truck lovers, get ready for this one!

The world of delicious street meat and secret white sauce is making its way up north.

Popular New York City food truck The Halal Guys announced they will be opening five franchises in Toronto, making it the company's first locations in Canada. Known for its chicken and gyros on rice and in wraps, the franchise is also popular for its secret — but incredibly addictive — white sauce in yellow packets.

With so many great halal options readily available for folks in the GTA, we're still pretty sure these stands will be a hit. And since the NYC cart locations are open until 4 a.m., we're wondering if we can add this cheap vendor (all dishes are under $10) to our list of epic late night eats.

The chain, which also opened a restaurant in NYC in 2014, teamed up Fransmart (who blessed Toronto with Five Guys Burgers and Fries) to bring the vendors up north. As of yet, no official launch date has been set.

Now if you've never had the chance to eat at Halal Guys, take a look at some of these drool-worthy shots below. Seriously, bring on the forks!
