Ian McKellen Scrambles Up 'The Best Eggs In The World' For His Facebook Followers

His technique may blow your mind.

We've trusted Ian McKellen to portray some of our favourite characters and now we trust him with breakfast too.

In a delightful video uploaded to Facebook on Thursday, the veteran actor shows us his favourite way to make scrambled eggs — which also happens to be a family recipe.

Filmed at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, Calif., Sir Ian takes us through his patented method, which involves adding the ingredients to the saucepan before placing it on the burner.

He’s likely pretty busy promoting his newest film, "Mr. Holmes", but we see some real potential as a cooking show host. "Ian McKellen Makes Classic Dishes" sounds like something we'd watch.

"Live from Chateau Marmont in Hollywood," I scramble up the best eggs in the world for my Facebook followers, to celebrate the success of my new film "Mr. Holmes".
