Congrats Lucy Liu! The “Elementary” actress welcomed a beautiful baby boy via surrogate this week. On Thursday, the 46-year-old took to Twitter and Instagram to share her announcement with the world.
In a black-and-white image, Liu is seen looking lovingly at her son as she holds him in her arms. “Introducing the new little man in my life, my son Rockwell Lloyd Liu. In [love]!” she wrote.
The actress’ rep told Us Weekly that Rockwell was “brought into the world via gestational carrier” and that both “mom and baby are healthy and happy.”
This is the first child for the “Charlie’s Angels” star. While her baby announcement is a surprise to us, we aren’t that surprised that Liu is now a mother. The actress has always shown her love for children through her volunteer work with UNICEF.
