A dark cloud descended on unsuspecting drivers Tuesday after a truck carrying over a million honeybees overturned on an Oklahoma interstate.
Garvin County Sheriff's deputy Carl Zink shared a short video on Facebook showing what the scene looked like from the inside of a sheriff patrol car.
“The day the bees attacked! Coming soon to a theatre near you,” Zink wrote. The short 17-second clip shows the windows being partially blocked by thousands of buzzing honeybees.

The fire department arrived on scene later to blast flames onto Zink’s car to scare them away. But it didn’t work. The swarm moved and wrapped itself on the opposite side of the car, covering the rear window.
After the hours-long ordeal was over, and after a lone intrepid bee broke into his car, Zink said he managed to walk away with just one sting.
According to a report by KSWO, witnesses said the cloud of bees could be seen nearly a kilometer away. But one person’s bee nightmare is another bee keeper’s dream.
“This is nothing out of the ordinary and I know there are a lot of bee keepers that are like 'oh my gosh!” Brian Royal from Royal Bee Supply told the news station.
“But you should have been here, because you could have had all the bees you wanted until 7:30.”
The overturned beehives left by the side of the interstate were later set on fire.
