According To Trichologists, Dry Shampoo Can Make You Go Bald

That little miracle in a bottle could be causing your hair some serious problems.

You wake up and you notice that your hair is greasy. You take a look at your alarm clock and you have no time to wash your hair, you're already running late. But you don't panic. Why? Because you turn to your trusty little bottle of dry shampoo -- the saviour of second, third or even fourth day hair.

But, according to Trichologists (hair and scalp specialists, FYI), you might want to think twice about picking up that secret hair weapon again...

In the above video, Monica Richards from ModaMob, reveals that overusing dry shampoo can lead to a flaky scalp, pimples, sores and worse...baldness.

But here's the issues resulting in those consequences: many are treating dry shampoo as a replacement for actual shampoo.

This is a big no-no for the specialists. Dry shampoo doesn't clean hair -- it deposits a powder-like residue which only absorbs oils. If powder is left too long in your mane, then it will begin to dry out the hair and scalp...and you don't want that.

But don't let all this scare you. You don't need to stop using your little can of wonder, you just have to limit your use and remember the golden rule: do NOT use dry shampoo as a constant replacement for real shampoo.
