Canadian retailer Aritzia just launched a new label, and naturally, we're stoked.
Called 1-01 Babaton for Aritzia, the elevated collection features 11 pieces made from luxurious Japanese fabrics, all of which embody '90s minimalism (think loose slip dresses, oversized ribbed sweaters and long, drapey skirts).
“We heard the desire for a studio collection that explores cutting-edge fabrications and innovative proportions," Olivier Walsh, Aritzia's chief marketing officer, told WWD. "The curated selection of limited-edition pieces that makes up 1–01 Babaton is our answer to that need. It’s an elevated, considered line for a sophisticated, modern woman.”
The collection retails from $195 to $495 and is currently available on aritzia.com and in stores.
