David Beckham is People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2015 and the internet is freaking out. In response to the 40-year-old’s new title, fans have been posting their emotional reactions to Twitter, sharing their tears, joy and tons of emojis.
While there are many things that make Beckham deserving of this title, there’s one thing we can’t ignore: he is a devoted father of four, which only makes him sexier.
After retiring from professional soccer in 2013, the 40 year old became a stay-at-home dad while his wife, Victoria, concentrated on her fashion career.
Revealing how much he loves being a “house husband,” Beckham said: “I love it. I've been lucky, I've always been able to take the boys to school in the mornings and pick them up and make them dinner and things like that. So I do even more of that.
“I'm able to take all three of the boys to school and then I take Harper to her school for a few hours and then pick her up. I'm kind of like a driver at the moment; I'm always in the car.”
The British heartthrob is a father to Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 13, Cruz, 10, and Harper, 4. Known for his love of tattoos, Beckham has gotten inked quite a few times in honour of his kids.
On Instagram, Beckham shared the most recent tattoos he got for Brooklyn and Harper.
And if that wasn't enough proof of his devotion to fatherhood, Beckham is also known for sharing touching photos with his kids on social media, accompanied by equally adorable captions.
After humbly accepting his new title, Beckham posted an Instagrom photo of his cover on People. His caption sweetly read: “I thought I was past my sell by date but thanks to @PeopleMag for the accolade and the compliment! I always feel a little shy when receiving these Awards, though it will make my Mum happy. This one the kids will laugh at, as they see what Daddy looks like in the morning!”
Beckham has certainly captured our hearts, not only as sexiest man alive, but sexiest dad as well.
