May the Christmas spirit be with you.

The yule log is seeing a massive shake-up this holiday season, almost 50 years after it first appeared on television.

And with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" opening Friday, a clever fan was bound to incorporate the sci-fi franchise somehow.

A video posted to YouTube on Tuesday shows Darth Vader burning on a funeral pyre, just as he did at the end of "Return of the Jedi."

Only the fire takes some time to burn in this video. Five hours, in fact.

It's a perfect take on the log that would work brilliantly at any "Star Wars" fan's holiday party.

The yule log first appeared on New York's WPIX Channel 11 in 1966. So perhaps Darth Vader provides a good chance to mix things up.

But it's not the only new yule log to debut this year.

"Parks and Recreation" star Nick Offerman created a video that shows him sitting in front of a fire and drinking whisky for 45 minutes as well.

But these aren't your only options if you're tired of seeing the same old fireplace on its own.

There's also "Lil' Bub," a cat that relaxes in front of a fire in an hour-long video.

May the Christmas spirit be with you.
