Dad Gets The Most Heartwarming Gift From His Kids For Christmas

“What the hell did you do?”

As he drops a bag of peanut M&Ms enclosed in a gift from his children, a man reaches for his glasses and is hit by a rush of emotions. He squints to read the words on a piece of paper in his lap.

“What the hell did you do?” he says in a 30-second video uploaded to Twitter on Friday.

In a tweet accompanied by the video, a Colorado-based Twitter user named Tone, said the man is his dad and that he and his siblings wanted to get him something special for Christmas this year.

“My dad hasn't seen his mom in [eight] years and she doesn't have much time left so we got him plane tickets to go see her,” Tone wrote.

Dad is left stunned in his chair.

Watch his emotional reaction below:

His children cry, “Merry Christmas, dad!” off-camera as he breaks into tears over the thoughtful gift.

The heartwarming moment follows a clip that went viral last week of kids choosing their family over presents for themselves. “Legos don't matter. Your family matters,” said one boy in the video.
