Peterborough Ont. Police Want To Return This Lost Wedding Ring To Its Owner

Wouldn't this be a great Valentine's Day present?

If you're a Peterborough, Ont. resident and you're missing a wedding ring, you may be in luck after all.

On Thursday, the local police department tweeted a picture of a man's wedding band that was found in University Heights Park last October, PTBO Canada reports.

Police say the missing 14-carat silver ring was never advertised to the public, but without any luck finding the owner internally, they have turned to social media and the community to spread the word.

And with Valentine's Day just around the corner, we're really hoping someone's symbol of true love is returned to its rightful owner.
